Senate Policy Review Committees

The University Senate and its committees are a key part of the consultation process for University policies. The Senate has identified committees that each policy going through comprehensive review must be consulted with as part of the comprehensive review process. The search function below shows which Senate committee(s) are required to be consulted as part of the comprehensive review process.

If a policy requires consultation by a Senate committee(s), policy owners/contacts should contact Jaclyn Adair in the University Senate office at least 30 days before committee meeting(s) to get scheduled on their respective agenda. When contacted within this timeline, the University Senate Office staff will make every effort to accommodate the request. If the request is made fewer than 30 days prior to the meeting, the University Senate Office staff will do their best to accommodate the request, if there is room on the agenda. If no room is available, the Senate Office will provide options for future meetings.

Policy owners/contacts should provide a redlined version of the policy, as well as a summary of all proposed substantive policy changes, to the appropriate University Senate office staff member no later than one week before the meeting.
