[1] If the individual identified herein as the University Authority has a conflict of interest that prevents them from serving in the University Authority role in a particular matter, the Appellate Officer will appoint a different individual to serve as University Authority in that matter.
[2] If the identified Appellate Officer also served as the University Authority in the case, or has another conflict of interest that prevents them from serving as Appellate Officer, the Appellate Officer will be the President or President’s designee.
