The Environmental Hygeine Officer (EHO) provides consulting and advice on practices to prevent pest infestation, and coordinates with Facilities Management and their contracted pest control provider to prevent and/or control pests.
Food Service Establishments
For pest infestations in food service facilities, the EHO will require immediate resolution of conditions contributing to the pest problems. See also the Emergency Closure of Food Service Facility Section in Administrative Procedure: Food Safety.
Demolition Pest Control
A pest control plan is required as part of the schematic design construction documentation prior to demolition of any University property or facility. See Insect and Rodent Control During Demolition.
New Facilities Pest Control
