Calculating Graduate Assistant Tuition Benefits

Administrative Procedure

A. Steps in Calculations

To calculate the amount of graduate assistant tuition benefit for 2016-2017, carry out the following steps:

  1. Multiply the appointment percentage by two
  2. Multiply this number by the maximum tuition benefit for the specific classification (see table)

Teaching Assistant, Research Assistant, Administrative Fellow, Medical Fellow, Dental Fellow classifications (Medical Fellows must work 100 percent time to receive 100% tuition benefit.)
