The following cessation resources are available to assist smokers who wish to quit.

Resources for Students and Student Workers

Tobacco Cessation Services Tobacco cessation services are available to UMD students through Health Services offering both behavioral and medically supported strategies. To schedule an appointment with our Cessation Specialist, call UMD Health Services at (218) 726-8155
Essentia Health Tobacco Cessation Services Essentia Health offers supportive tobacco education and cessation experts at Essentia Health for effective and proven ways to quit. www.essentiahealth.org/services/tobacco-cessation/
Quit Partner This cessation program is open to all Minnesota residents 18 years and over who use any type of tobacco product. Program options include: Quit coaching over the phone, by text message, or online Access to free or reduced cost over-the-counter nicotine replacement therapy (i.e. the patch, gum) 1-800-QUIT-NOW (784-8669) quitpartnermn.com
