Standard Equipment and Software Options for Bankcard Processing

Equipment Options

  • Verifone Omni 3750 - This terminal provides a 4 second turnaround time for the process of verification and transition when a Ethernet connection is used. This process would require an Ethernet connection. This choice would be used where the customer is 100% face to face in a retail situation. The application on this terminal can be programmed to receive only a transaction code back. Private data on the transaction would be stored by FDMS. This relieves the background check requirement on cashiers.
    The rental cost of the equipment is $23.50 per month.
    Ethernet connection will cost of $65 plus time and material charge for pulling a new cable estimated at 150.00. There is no monthly rental on the Ethernet connection.   • Hypercom T7Plus - This compact desktop terminal is able to process face to face as well as Mail order Telephone order transactions.
    The rental cost of the equipment is $23.50 per month.
  • Phone line: connection will cost of $65 plus time and material charge for pulling a new cable estimated at 150.00. All phone lines have a monthly rental of $20.29.
  • Eclipse payment Terminal - This compact desktop terminal is able to process face to face bankcard transactions as well as the TeleCheck - Electronic Check Acceptance which converts the paper check into a electronic transaction.
    The rental cost of the equipment is $23.50 per month.
    Phone line: connection will cost of $65 plus time and material charge for pulling a new cable estimated at 150.00. All phone lines have a monthly rental of $20.29.
    Telecheck fees are $0.25 per check.

PDCSS Software Options

  • PC Charge Pro™software can be purchased for approximately $199.00.
    This software will require a dedicated PC (used is fine) with PCIDSS security requirements. Access to and reports from this desktop need to be treated with the highest level of security. The IP address on this desktop must be reported as critical with OIT Security. (Note needed software upgrades will be required and will have an additional cost.)
  • ICVerify® software can be purchased for approximately $199.00.
    This software will require a dedicated PC (used is fine) with PCIDSS security requirements. Access to and reports from this desktop need to be treated with the highest level of security. The IP address on this desktop must be reported as critical with OIT Security. (Note needed software upgrades will be required and will have an additional cost.)
  • YourPay.com
    YourPay.com is an online payment service for a point-of-sale (POS) face to face, mail order- telephone order capability. It is a PC-based solution. The YourPay.com service enables merchants to process credit card transactions via any computer connected to the Internet. It generates reports on sales; return authorizations and reports through the LinkPoint Secure Payment Gateway.

    In either case, the department will receive welcome kits from Discover and American Express.
