Outdoor Service at Licensed Venues

Outdoor Spaces

If alcoholic beverages are sold or served in outdoor spaces at Licensed Venues, the following additional requirements apply:

1. The area is contiguous to, and considered part of, the Licensed Venue.
2. The area will be clearly defined and bordered by a tent or other barrier such as rod-and-rail bike racks, stanchions and ropes, temporary fencing or similar barriers that completely surround the service area.
3. Access to the outdoor service area is permitted only through a door connecting it to indoor spaces in the Licensed Venue or through a secure entrance/exit to the outdoor service area.
4. Servers or security personnel must be able to observe the outdoor area at all times.
