Calculating Graduate Assistant Tuition Benefits

A. Steps in Calculations
To calculate the amount of graduate assistant tuition benefit for 2009-2010, carry out the following steps:
- Multiply the appointment percentage by two
- Multiply this number by the maximum tuition benefit for the specific classification (see table)

Tuition benefit percentage | x 50% |
Tuition benefit received | $2803.00 |
Teaching Assistant, Research Assistant, Administrative Fellow, Medical Fellow, Dental Fellow classifications (Medical Fellows must work 100 percent time to receive 100% tuition benefit.)
